Excitement or Exploitation?
All of my sons, especially the oldest whose team had a legitimate shot, dreamed of playing someday in the Little League World Series. None of them ever made it. Part of that dream was the idea of being on national television – ESPN. What red-blooded American youth baseball player wouldn’t want that? Well, there may be another side to the experience that isn’t as great and acclaimed LA Times columnist Bill Plaschke expresses his concerns in a thought-provoking article. What do you think?
