Concussions and Soccer
With all of the controversy and awareness centering on brain injuries in American Football, we wonder about concussions in the sport the rest of the world calls football. If you’ve ever watched a high-level youth soccer game you know that youngsters often strike hard-hit balls directly on their foreheads, which can’t be good for their health. Here is a brief synopsis of a study done by the University of Washington on the topic.
