CoachDeck Donates to Wildcat Baseball League
San Diego, CA Jun 22, 2014 – CoachDeck LLC, (www.coachdeck.com) a leader in providing training resources for youth sports coaches, has announced a strategic alliance with the Changing the Game Project.
"Since the beginning, CoachDeck has had one goal, which is to make youth sports more enjoyable and beneficial to participating children,” said Brian Gotta, President of CoachDeck. "We want more kids to play youth sports and stick with it longer and we know that the quality of their experience is directly proportional to the likelihood of their doing so. The Changing the Game Project shares that mission."
Through his books, videos and public speaking, Changing the Game Project founder John O'Sullivan has raised awareness of faults in the current youth sports landscape and developed tools and strategies for positive change.
The mission of the Changing the Game Project is to return youth sports to children, and put the 'play' back in 'play ball.' The goal is to provide the most influential adults in children's lives – their parents and coaches – with the information and resources they need to make sports a healthy, positive, and rewarding experience for their children, and their whole family.
O'Sullivan is excited about the alliance. "In order to change the environment of youth sports, which is currently causing over 70% of kids to drop out by the age of 13, we need as many voices as possible to deliver the message. The Changing the Game Project is excited to partner with CoachDeck to help spread the word about creating a player-first youth sports experience."
"John O'Sullivan and his organization preach the perfect message for all youth sports coaches and parents," said Gotta. "As we contact thousands of youth sports organizations each year, we will be able to give that message a wider audience."
CoachDeck cards were created to assist the millions of hard-working youth sports volunteers and parents who would like to help players learn important skills and fundamentals though fun drills and games.
